Age Requirement: You represent that you are over the age of 18. The Company does not permit those under 18 to book or use the Service independently without direct parental or legal guardian consent and presence.
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We maintain a strict 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please use the self-service links provided in your confirmation email or client portal at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours notice will receive a 100% full refund automatically to the original payment method. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or missed appointments cannot be refunded, as that clinical studio space cannot be filled on short notice.

Any health histories, intake questionnaires, clinical session notes, and diagnostic maps recorded in your patient file are strictly confidential. Your data is never sold, shared, or distributed to any third parties without your explicit written consent.
Legal Basis for Processing: We collect and process your personal identification data (name, email, telephone, WhatsApp) under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) for the performance of our appointment reservation agreement. We process your sensitive health and medical intake disclosures under GDPR Article 9(2)(h) strictly for healthcare provision, clinical diagnosis, and therapeutic continuity.
Data Retention: Patient records and clinical session logs are retained securely in accordance with Portuguese healthcare retention regulations. Non-clinical administrative and payment records are maintained only for the statutory periods required by Portuguese tax and accounting law.

All online credit card transactions are processed securely via Stripe using bank-level 256-bit encryption. Acupuncture in Lisbon never stores or has access to your raw credit card numbers or banking secrets.
All prices are stated and charged in Euros (€ EUR). In-person payments may be settled at the studio upon arrival via cash, credit/debit card, Revolut, or MBWay. Remote sessions must be confirmed via card payment or active package credit in advance of the scheduled appointment time.
Multi-session treatment packages (including 3-session series, 5-session cosmetic refresh, 6-session embodiment protocols, 8-week container journeys, and 10-session cosmetic foundations) are designed to provide structured therapeutic continuity at preferential pricing.
Acupuncture and remote nervous system reset sessions are complementary wellness therapies intended to support overall balance, energetic coherence, and vitality. They do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed medical physician.
Clients agree to complete the health intake questionnaire truthfully and to disclose all diagnosed medical conditions, current medications, surgeries, implanted medical devices (e.g. pacemakers), and pregnancy status prior to treatment. If you experience a medical emergency, please contact national emergency services immediately (112 in Portugal / Europe, 911 in the USA, or SNS 24 at 808 24 24 24).
To preserve a safe, secure, and potentially vulnerable somatic container, all in-person clinical consultations and remote distance sessions (conducted via Google Meet, WhatsApp, or voice) are strictly confidential.
Unauthorized audio, video, or screen recording of sessions by any party without express prior written mutual consent is strictly prohibited in accordance with European Union GDPR standards and international healthcare privacy laws.
The Service and its original content (excluding personal Content provided by You), features, diagnostic maps, "5 Layers of Identity" frameworks, clinical narratives, audio guides, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive intellectual property of Hayley Enright and Acupuncture in Lisbon.
The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws of both Portugal and foreign jurisdictions. Our trademarks, trade dress, and clinical designs may not be used in connection with any commercial product or service without our prior written consent.
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g. Google Meet, Stripe, Instagram, Substack) that are not owned or controlled by the Company.
The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such external content, goods, or services.
The digital booking website and online platform are provided to You "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to digital availability, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, neither the Company nor any provider makes any representation or warranty that the digital website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or emails sent from or on behalf of the Company are free of harmful digital components.
Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of these Terms and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service for the specific session or package in question, or 100 USD / 100 EUR if You haven't purchased clinical services through the digital platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its practitioners be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, for business interruption, or loss of privacy arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service).
Informal Resolution: If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting Hayley Enright directly.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction: The laws of Portugal, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern these Terms and Your use of the Service. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lisbon, Portugal (Tribunal Judicial da Comarca de Lisboa). European Union consumers additionally benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they reside.

Translation Interpretation: These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service. You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms.
