I was going to be a professor of medieval French literature. Then one afternoon, alone in my New York City apartment, I heard a voice inside my body. It said one word: acupuncture.

It wasn’t my voice. It had no gender. And I was shocked at how right it felt.

The study of Chinese medicine opened a world I didn’t know existed, ancient, precise, and alive with the kind of meaning I had always been searching for. I immersed myself, earning two Master’s degrees in acupuncture and spending years in study with energy masters.

I opened my first studio in Sarasota in 2009, another when I moved to Paris, and two more in Lisbon. Four practices, three countries, almost two decades, and over 16,000 treatments later, this work still fills me with wonder. What I practice today weaves 3,000 years of ancient scientific wisdom with a deep understanding of the nervous system, the energy field, and the patterns that shape how we inhabit our lives.

In my Lisbon studio, I work with people seeking relief from pain, stress, exhaustion, and fertility or cycle imbalances. In my remote practice, I specialize in working with people who feel things differently: neurodivergent, highly sensitive, and those whose inner worlds run deep.

Across both pathways, the core of my practice is this: your original blueprint is already whole. You are incredible, your inner architecture is a wonder, and you can come fully alive in your design. This work simply helps you return to yourself.
